A  company  can only be founded when someone has the courage to believe in an idea.

In the wake of the excellent commercial results achieved in the past, the ideas and the thirty years’ experience of Giovanni Acanfora, on May 23th in 2008, the project Givova was born.

From the beginning, the company’s aim is improving the positioning of the brand and bringing it to the highest levels of the industry. In 2009 already, only one year after its founding, Givova joins the Italian Championship with the sponsorship of Second League football club Salerno and Premier League Club AC Chievo Verona.


Today Givova has an integrated logistics platform of about 30.000m2 which is perfectly organized for the distribution of its products throughout the world. Givova evaluates the market demand offering flexibility and fast responses to the needs of the industry with an obsessive attention to details, textiles and style, so that its products not only suit the taste of the customers, but also follow the trends in sports fashion.

In 2010, only two years after its founding, Givova becomes technical sponsor and official supplier of the Olympic Committee of Serbia that took part in 2012 at the Olympic Games in London, the most important sport competition in the world.

On the basis of the achieved results, Givova’s trade policy is based on some key points:

-Constant visibility in the market thanks to technical sponsorships within the best national and international sports clubs.

-Integrated logistics that allow Givova’s business partners to eliminate the costs related to inventories.

-Constant investment in research and development to improve the products performance and make them more suitable to the needs of athletes.

– Qualified, fast and professional staff is available 24 hours a day to give customer service before and after sales, in order to reduce waiting time and respond to the customer needs.

Givova now has dozens of sponsorship of top national and international football leagues.

Givova is also known in the  basketball through partnerships with national and international clubs such as sportsclub Polisportiva Battipagliese and  Dike basket club. The brand is moreover “naming sponsor” of Scafati Basket club.

In 2012 Givova decides to engage in charity through its collaboration with the Italian singers National Team by providing  material to all the teams taking part to the so called “Match of the Heart”, a charity football match played by famous Italian singers and actors. In 2015 the brands also sponsors the Italian Pilots National Team.

The “Match of the Heart” raised 4.000.000 Euros in its various editions, between 2012 and 2015, that supported the Foundation Falcone e Borsellino, the Institute for Cancer Research and Treatment in Candiolo (Ircss), Telethon foundation and Piedmont Foundation for Cancer Research.
